Question: How I can configure my computer to get mirror image in second hard disk to protect my digital images.?
When I am working with my digital photographs , I want that my computer automatically create backup images in a second hard disk.
Answer: You want to use RAID 1 (mirroring)
if you are using XP Pro (i think also 2000pro) you can convert both disks to dynamic disk through disk management then create the mirror.Or you could get a raid controller card.

Question: How to fix a connector to portable western digital 60GB hard drive.?
The pin broke to the connector to the hard drive. How do I either fix the connector or retrieve the data from the hard drive?
Answer: Is it the IDE or SATA Interface pins or the Power Pins on the drive? If so your pretty much screwed on getting the data back. Or is it the USB piece or the power plug on the enclosure box? If the enclosure box is broken just open her up you can break the enclosure apart just be careful and remove the hard drive. All that box has inside is a IDE or SATA controller with a USB interface and just an ordinary hard disk is just like whats inside your pc. Just pull the hard disk out and connect it to a IDE or SATA port inside the pc and get your data back. You may need to set a jumper cap to Slave since most of them are on MASTER and it needs to be on Slave mode to work when connecting two hard disks inside together on the same IDE cable when connected directly to the computer.
An easier way is to just unplug the CD-rom or DVD rom drive and connect the drive by itself without messing with the jumpers by using the 40 pin IDE ribbon wire and power that was connected to the cd-rom drive.
From there you can get your data back. If you wanted to. Just install the drive permanently inside the computer..
If its a SATA drive you need the SATA cable and power No jumper settings required. Which I highly doubt it since its only a 60gb drive.
