Question: Where can I find unique camera cases and straps?
I recently bought a Nikon D40 and I’d like something a bit more attractive than the standard accessories. I’d love to find a vintage camera case or bag and fun strap. I haven’t had much success online – Any suggestions?
Answer: I don’t know about a vintage bag….I used to use an old army carrier bag for my old SLR which I got at an army surplus store. I wouldn’t recommend it for carrying a DSLR though.
I looked at Ameribag, they have some pretty funky sling backs but more geared as purses.
I settled on a Roots sling back bag (maybe only available in Canada). It measures about 9 x 12 x 3 and accomodates my camera plus an extra lens plus several peripherals. It does not look like a camera bag. Sorry – I can’t give you the model number. – I could not even find it on their official website. But I bought it at Blacks Photography

Question: Nikon D40 camera bag or suitcase?I just got a Nikon D40. I wonder where I am a cute (he can get) bag then All bags that out there. Websites to help you. Thanks!
Answer: I use and like Crumpler camera bags. You are an Australian company but here is the international website: https: / / www.crumplerbags.com Crumpler bags is only as tough as a brand, but they are not as monotonous and functional to search the outside. What I like most about them is that they can not scream that they are camera bags. Of course, "cute" is a personal interview. Give They see their website a look if you like them.

Question: Youtube video prep?
i am wanting to put some guitar and piano videos on youtube. I have a 4″ tripod, 4″ c – clamp, (2) 2″ c clamps and a t-mobile mda camera phone. What other ideas can anybody come up with as far as mounting that would work on the tripod so i dont have videos with shaky cam? p.s. i think i might have velcro to if that would do anything. Thanks!
Answer: If it’s only a phone then velcro it to the wall and play away!!
You might have a sticky phone after it’s all done, but just take a napkin with alcohol to get it off.

Question: How can the pure water from seawater with certain materials?Question: You're stranded on an island that is dying water. How do you get pure water when there is sea water surronding you? The island has some materials: – A Bunsen burner – gas supply of matches – a tripod, gauze and a heat-proof mat – is equipped with bosses and clamps – a conical flask – a test tube and an outlet tube – a glass – and lotsa seawater. Please help to write a set of instructions, and if you can help please write, how to put the device in operation. Thanks, BTW, I will choose the best answer.
Answer: Put the seawater in the flask and placed on the gauze on the tripod on the gas burner connected to a gas supply (on a desert island!). You need some way of sealing the bottle (stopper with a hole in it) and a glass tube through the cork – I guess it's tube. It will heat the water sea and the water evaporates leaving the salt. The vapor is carried up in a condensing device. Ideally, the steam cooling with cold water, but can be done only by having the pickup zone in the shadows, etc. and the condensed water will drip down into the drinking glass. Occasionally the brine discharge and refilling.
