Question: Is a filter any good on a rotating lens?

Ok, so I’m very new to the whole DSLR scene, but I’ve picked my camera & I’ve picked by Lens. (Sony a300 with 2 kit lenses – 18-70mm & 75-300mm). I’ve also been reading about filters. I’ve read that a UV filter is a ‘must have’, and a Polarising filter would be very useful, as I take a lot of pictures through glass. However, I do know that the lenses I’m getting rotates at the end, which means my filters will rotate – not a problem for the UV filter, but is a problem for the polarising filter. But, is it still worth getting? Is it still going to be usable, but just less functional, or am I wasting my time & money? Thanks!

Answer: So when you focus, you will have to adjust that filter (by rotating it). A bit of a pain and that is something you’ll get used to in time.

Some lens have internal focusing – the front element does not rotate during focusing at all.

Question: Question amplifier?

Just bought this amp (Legacy Predator 2000W) and heres the details: Description Mono Block Subwoofer Amplifier 1 Ohm Stable MOSFET power supply PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulation) System Glass Epoxy PCB Gold Plated RCA Inputs Custom Terminal Block for Speaker Connection Thermal / Overload / protection short circuits Variable Subsonic Filter (15Hz-40Hz, 24dB / octave) Phase Control 0-180 degree Remote Bass Boost Input Impedance: 10K Ohms Soft Turn ON / OFF Advanced Protection Circuitry S / N Ratio:> 90dB Dimensions: 1.97''H x 11.42''W x L 12''Chiunque know if this will my 3 subs 1350W infinite 10's? I already have a Sony Xplod 1200W 2-channel amplifier will this legacy is best?

Answer: Absolutely no! That the rating 2000 watts max damage is the absolute power if he would ever put out …………. would only be approaching if he struck by lightning! Look for RMS power ratings, not peak power. RMS is the continuous power. You must provide your subwoofer with that much power at least, and match that to the continuous power the amp puts out. Your underpowering your subs with either amp, but stay away from this legacy, returning, if possible.
