Question: Is this version compatible with Nikon Cable D3000?

Hi, I wanted a new camera and a cable release for the low-lit Buy a photograph. I am the wireless one, that Nikon provides, but do not have a lock option, which I tried to realize. I know this is a generic, low quality Items bought, but I do a similar film for my camera and it worked just fine. She says she is with the D90 and D5000 is compatible, meaning it also on my D3000 work? Thanks! Answer: According to the website, only the Nikon ML-L3 Remote Control is listed as an accessory for the D3000. The MC-DC1 has no list of compatible cameras. Nikon Call 1-800-645-6689 and ask.

Question: Help with choosing a camera!?

I am going on a trip to London in the middle of August and I would like to have a camera. I have researched them but I can’t seem to get a straight answer from camera salesman. I am looking for a good quality camera with numerous features. I take mostly landscape photos (buildings, wildlife, landscapes) and I would also enjoy a HD movie feature. I have been looking at the Canon XSi (I know it doesn’t have video) and the G10, but are there any others that are comparable to these. Also I have looked at the Olympus Pen, does any one know when it is being released in Canada. And my budget with memory card, bag, cleaning kit etc. it $1000. (i.e. the camera will probably have to be under $900 unless it is in a starter kit).
And if the camera was a fixed lens camera I would like it to be wide or wider angle.

Question: What do I remember to pack for a week-long trip?

OK, so I go to a conference for a week … staying at a hotel, and The conference is breakfast and lunch, so I had to pay for my own dinners. lol, not a problem. I'm leaving tomorrow and I'm making a list right now what I need to pack. I'm forgetting something? Answer: I seem to have everything, you sufficient to ensure that the right clothes/shoes- pack if you have a working lunch, you'll need business clothes and heels, if you go out to dinner, a nice dress, walk-jog, if there is a swimmer pool/beach-. Sunglasses if the weather warm jacket if the weather cold. money, currency and correct (if you leave the country) passport (if you leave the country), license to enter the club, plastic bags are always useful (if it is wet clothes, a wet towel or clothes dirty and smelly jogger you can pack into the plastic bag), a book to read during the outward journey and return, sweets for the trip, vitamins, paracetamol etc. if you get a headache, Ipod, headphones …
