Question: how can I fill a hole in a tile around my bathroom sink faucet ?

I had to re-plumb the pluming in my guest bath room ended up damaging an existing tile where new faucet is being replaced. The tile replacement can not be made since the manufacture no longer carried the exact same time. I could fell the gap (hole) with a tile/kitchen/bath white culk but still would not look the same ore near as close as tile. I guess I can paint it over it, but it bit more complicated than that since the time had decorative design on it, can I sand the area once the culk is dried up to shape it to the design then paint it ?? IF I could find a matching paint color to my tile. I have a BIG head ache over this. I know its a small thing, but it really bothers me. I paid over $900 for my new Sink / wall mount faucet plus tile was brand new also. The contractor screwed up and they never returned, so I had to do it yourself fix.

Answer: sounds to me,,, that a patch job just wont be right for you,,,,i have a theory i use on all my renovations/alteration jobs i do,when a budget is in place,,,(if you can”t hide it,or match it…make a feature out of it)…try removing a few more tiles,in maybe a diamond shape..and replace those tiles with tiles completely different..(just a thought,,the options are limitless)do the same over the other taps,,,or get some polished
stainless steel,,, there are many options,let your creativity loose..good luck

Question: Bring a truck without drilling holes to pick it up?

I have a butch block borkbench up and I want a vice in a to obtain certain point. I also have a Dremel Work (mini)-drill. I want to be able to mount them on my bench but I don t really want to drill holes through my bench because I want to be able to swap them in and out when I'm free and the room if I do not need they need. Are there any good alternatives to drilling through my bank? I've seen these big metal clip things shaped like a big C or something that tightens a large screw, (not sure what there called) and asked me if she could have work. Or something like that. If this isn't going to work to sell them vices, which only put a stop to your workbench? Are they a good job, or are they cheesy? I am new to this type of material. Thank you!

Answer: Mount the devices to a 3 / 4 inch piece of ply depth of the bolt and then use c clamps to harness it to the bank
