Well, it depends a lot on what exactly your craft is. I make jewellery and back in 2004 – 5 I had great success selling it on E-Bay. Sadly not any longer, the market there for jewellery is just too competitive unless you have a niche item that is very much in demand (but these tend to only be “hot” for a few months at most) or unless you are working with precious stones and Sterling silver/gold.

I’ve looked at etsy, which some others have recommended, and while it looks as though jewellery doesn’t sell overly well other items do – so it may be worth a try.

The best advice I can give you if you’re considering selling on-line other than through your own website is research, research, research till you are sick of researching – i.e. look at what sells and what doesn’t, if it sells then how it’s presented – it’s the only way.

I have also found that local church and school craft fairs are a brilliant market for my jewellery – I am in the UK, don’t know where you are, but it’s another idea to try.

Answer: I have a friend who has done just that ordered all its pearls, tools, cases from a wholesaler online. After doing a lot of jewelry sets, necklaces, earrings, nose rings tip ring, bracelets, etc. went to the bridal gown shop and asked if he bought the jewelry Wholesale and she has sold her jewelry at cost. Question: Is the Canon xSi digital SLR camera the only Canon digital camera that uses SD memory cards?

I have always used Canon for P&S cameras, so I own nothing but SD memory cards. I want to buy a Canon brand of digital SLR now, but don’t want to use a new type of memory card. After some research, it looks to me like the xSi is the only one that is an option for Canon – would that be correct?

Answer: No.

The current list of Canon Digital SLRs that use SD/SDHC are:
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XS (aka 1000D)
Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi (aka 450D)

Also the more expensive/professional models that have SD/SDHC and CF card capability. (It wouldn’t make sense to buy these just for SD card capability. Much cheaper to buy new CF cards that will work with any of the other Canon Digital SLRs.)

In the end… Compact Flash cards are not very expensive. My opinion is buy whatever camera suits you best and then buy memory cards if you need to. The XS and XSi are great cameras to learn full manual control of the camera on. If your a beginner or don’t know much, one of those two cameras is the one to get. If you’ve got some experience or take photography pretty seriously, a camera like the 40D, 50D, 5D, or 5D Mark II may be more suited to your needs.

If all you have are regular SD cards, you may find that they are not large enough to hold many pictures, so you may end up having to buy larger SDHC cards anyways. Just another thing to consider.

Question: which camera is better? a digital SLR camera or digital SLR camera not?

I 'm very new to the word of photography and want a camera. I have no space for a non digital camera to develop photos, but digital cameras SLR way more expensive. I just want to know who would be better for me to learn and if their is an easy way to get one (I tried eBay). I am a working student and the money does not grow on my trees. Also any recommendations to make for models / brands?

Answer: While having a SLR / DSLR always seems that the best way to go many peoples minds, it may not be for you. Are you decided to do more than snaps shots? If not, then get a nice point and pull the device. If you have any doubts about any type of career, photography or future, then get a point and shoot. A professional photographer Gerts results because of their knowledge and experience, not the device they use. Just have a DSLR or SLR will not make your images any better than mine, Ansel Adams, or the kid down the street. Space is not a consideration, even for a film as you may have developed in a professional laboratory, if necessary.
