The lens that we have paired compatible camcorder (Panasonic HDC-SD9, HDC-SX5, HDC-SD1, HDC-SD5), which have lenses 37mm diameter filter. could use a "step-down ring – or just get a fisheye lens made for mounting the camcorder 30.5mm has.

Question: Shutter Priority on Nikon D40X help?

Ok so I was wondering if I could take pictures of stars by leaving the shutter open for 30 seconds or so, but the only time it takes pictures is when its able to focus on something. I switched the lens switch to manual but nothing showed up. If this is the case then does that mean I will have a hard time photographing lightning? Or is it because I had the polarizer filter on? Could I have the UV one on without it blocking out stars or lightning? I am confused, my last camera I could switch it to shutter priority and then star shooting, but this one seems to want something to focus on instead of darkness.

Answer: You are switching the lens to Manual Focusing. You need to rotate the control dial at the top to “M” for manual settings.

Shutter priority is the “S” on the dial.

Question: Nikon D300 SLR camera help!

Ok … I'm going to buy the Nikon D300 DX 12.3MP Digital SLR Camera with 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S DX VR Zoom Nikkor Lens'm also going to take a case, a tripod and a flash because they are important to have. Now I need help regarding the polarizing filters and lenses determined. I definitely want to get a good UV filter and color filters that I use when taking pictures of the sky or on the beach. I like to have a micro, macro telephoto, and panoramic lens. But I need these 4 lenses as the camera comes with a 18-200mm lens? Tele is the same viewpoint? Panorama is not the type where the image really elongated? and if it turns out that I can buy these 4 lenses ….. What should I type into the search bar if you buy it from amazon.com? Thank you!

Answer: Not only get any tripod … Save your pennies and get a good strong (over $ 200 you get what you can depend on) The SD600 Nikon is probably the best flash dedicated moderatly price for the camera. Hoya, Tiffen and B & W filters are good. All goals require a UV to protect their front elements … A polarizing filter is only required for normal zoom lenses. The color correction is handled on board the camera, you do not need color correction filters. telephoto lens is the opposite of what is called "Overview". The goal is a 18-200 mm wide angle to medium telephoto. Shooting breathtaking landscapes, you should get to the end objective 12-24 mm. Macro lenses are a specialty lens so if you want to shoot macro, you need to buy or 60 mm or 105 mm VR lens Nikon. They are slow to shoot subjects with a subject of a report image from 1:1 to 1:2. Micro photography is done using a microscope.
