Question: Anything i can do to improve my photographs?

I use Sony MVC-FD91 Mavica 0.8MP Digital Camera with 14x Optical Zoom
And i started yesterday and wanted some constructive criticism.
Please don’t be to rude.

Sorry for the freaky lens!
Thanks soo much everyone :)

Answer: You only started yesterday. So of course there is a lot of room for improvement in every area. I started 40 years ago, and still find lots of room for myself as well!

Work on focus and exposure for starters. The eye and maybe the latch are the only sharp ones in the bunch, and most are underexposed. Here is my favorite link for new photographers:

When beginning to learn photography, you might want to take more than one type of photo. Your shots were all closeups of random objects, which is fine, but try a few landscapes, people or pets, perhaps even the dreaded flower shots as well.

Begin learning and enjoy your new hobby.

Question: What do you use for your Sony Mavica?

I just bought a Sony Mavica MVC-FD91 on eBay for $ 30 … just cause …. do not know what I'm going to use camera for, but I would have a range of cameras (Point-N-shoot). (I do not really listen to people's opinions talk about a lot of reviews on cameras I said they suck and I really like them), what do you use for yours? of understand my camera …. – Samsung Digimax 301 (my 1st digital camera) – 2 dv Vupoint-DA1-VP – Vivitar 5385 – and a sony handy cam (video camera)

Answer: Right now I use it as a paper weight. I lost the battery charger and have since updated. I do not like mine property. I shot some cool stuff with it. My cameras: Nikon D40 (digital) Pentax K1000 (35mm) Mamiya C220 (medium size 120) Calumet 4×5 (large format) A couple of Holga, a Diana, and about a dozen 35mm organs from one species to another.

First, let”s start by searching Ebay for Kit Set Sony:

Question: Will the following speaker set-up work/sound good?

Is it possible to combine the following bits of kit:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-I-Trigue-5600-5-1-Speakers/dp/B00069BU0O/sr=1-5/qid=1162739556/ref=sr_1_5/202-4699793-0006200?ie=UTF8&s=electronics

with a turntable (can anyone recommend a good, cheap one) AND my pc?

And if it did all hang together, would the sound quality be any good?

Answer: It depends on what sort of sound quality you’re after and what your budget is. I work in the hi-fi press, and to be frank, the sorts of components on the links you mention will sound dire compared to decent hi-fi stuff at a similar price. It also depends on what you want your system to do. If you need a big CD changer, then that limits your choice, but if you’re happy with a single-disc player, you can get something which sounds better for the same money because it’s smaller (so less money spent on casework) and mechanically simpler than a changer mechanism (so cheaper and more reliable). The money saved this way gets spent on better parts in a single-disc machine (better power supply, better converters, etc). Same goes for turntables.

I live in the UK, and Richer Sounds have a lot of decent, cheap hi-fi components well worth looking at. I don’t know which shops you’d want to check in the States or elsewhere.

If you want to use a turntable with your PC, you’ll either need one of those USB turntables that’s around at the moment, or a separate phono pre-amp which will step the output of the turntable’s cartridge up to the right levele for your PC to handle it. (The USB turntables just have the phono amp built in, but they’re not mindblowing quality).
