Can I use this lens with my digital rebel xti?

Answer: You could, but you would need an adapter and it would be only usable as a manual lens.

You can use film lenses with digital cameras, they aren’t as ideal as one that has modern coatings optimised for digital use, and many will only operate as a manual lens like the one you mentioned, but often they are a source of good glass at a low price. I use a lot of old Nikon lenses on my Nikon DSLRs, lenses that I have had since the seventies in some cases.

Question: Canon FTB or GIII canonet ql17?

so that one? I really want a good vintage pictures look old. and dont copy and paste from other websites

Answer: I have a QL17 Gill myself, like many elderly, even the cameras, and that 'vintage' look is not is actually determined by the camera (the QL 17 Gill is a perfectly good goal.) The film uses a larger role – color film has changed from the 70s when the cameras were made – and the prints you saw were probably partly faded. You can simulate that look with some post-processing computer … Photoshop and the like. Ironically, that requires the use of digital files. So you can scan old negatives from a film camera or just use a digital camera to begin with!

Question: Do you think it was ok for Obama to give such a bad gift to British PM Gordon Brown?

When Brown recently visited the White House Obama gave him 25 American DVDs (I’m curious of which films). The DVDs were made for North American (US) DVD players and as anyone especially the president and his staff and anyone who travels knows, they were not compatible to the DVD players in England/Europe so Brown returned them. Brown on the other hand had given Obama a wooden pen holder made from the timber of an anti-slavery ship. Do you think it’s ok for Obama to be ruining US relations with the UK just because he has the power to? It wasn’t too long ago when he returned their statue gift as well…
As of this morning’s news, yes, Gordon did return the DVD’s (that’s where I got this story from today).

Answer: Yes, Gordon Brown has class and Obama has none. On behalf of most of the thinking Amercans, let me apologize. He seems to want to suck up to our enemies and alienate our best friends.
