Question: I have 3000 dollars, what should I buy?
I'm a 24 year old guy, i'm a graduate student in college. I saved up some money and I want to SPEND it, but not sure what to get.
Already have a very good computer, good clothes, good phone, etc etc. Have a car already and don't want to spend it in that area. No i don't want to put it in my savings or invest it etc etc even though that's the smart thing to do, I want instant gratification! As in something in return, or a product I get that's fun.
I do like electronic gadgets etc.
I was thinking of maybe getting an HD camcorder, or a Digital SLR camera that is around 2-3 k.
Any other ideas?
No vacations, already have a 52 inch plasma TV with blue ray system
no music related things either.Answer: hmmmm....... i would have to say give the money to me LOL JK

Its hard to pick something you would like.... because honestly i have no idea what you like? You could love music... in which case you could buy a new sound system or instrument.
You could love exotic fish.... in which case you should ....... no i dont care how much you like fish.... no, spending 3000 dollars on them LOL.
I think you get what i mean though. Gosh i wish i had 3000 dollars to spend lol, half the fun is just thinking waht to spend it on! ^_^

Answer: If I were to buy such a system, I would choose Canon 40D and two 4-card gb. The rest of the equipment I still buy. Two cards give you more flexibility and you do not have the bad habit of waiting too long to copy all your work to your computer. pot holders are great for extending the time of shooting and adds the necessary weight to add stabilization of the camera lens combination /.
