Question: if you have a circuit of a battery a flash bulb and a wire is that generating electricity?

Answer: Interesting question. The answer depends on one’s definition of “electricity” and on how one looks at the question. The battery is using chemical reactions to cause a current to flow, if one calls an electric current , “electricity” then the battery is generating electricity, but the other parts of the circuit are converting that flow to light and heat, or “consuming”, not “generating” electricity. So the circuit as a whole is not “generating” electricity.

Question: It 's true that watching a movie from a USB flash drive takes up less battery laptop …?

… than watching a movie from a DVD or hard drive? I mean, it makes sense, kinda. Moter optical drive takes a lot of battery does the hard drive. I do not think that the flash memory. But I'm not that the hard drive would stop using the battery as much only because it is not in use? If it is true, it is worth keeping in mind? How, I mean, is that the big difference?

Answer: It also depends on how fast the hard disk, its data transfer rate, and if its IDE or SATA Solid State. USB is faster if you have USB 2.0 ports, and not clog the usb disk (ie casual games and downloads which are useless to have on the unit). Also if you watch a film every type of road on a laptop. Sit in a place where you can keep your AC adapter plugged in.
