Question: Question about color filters and photo programs?
How do I use color filters in photo programs such as Adobe photoshop or gimp. I want to be able to make the picture black and white with yellow or blue showing but I can’t figure it out. My camera doesn’t have it on the lense. Hopefully someone understands lol
Answer: in photoshop you can select the things you want left in color using the magnetic or polygon lasso. after you have selected one, you can make it a seperate layer and then go on and select another object and make it a layer and then select the background layer and desaturate it.
or you can use either lasso and select one object, after it is selected, press the ctrl key and start to select the next object, for every additional object you want to select just press ctrl when you make the first click on the new object and it will keep the others selected. after you have your objects you want left in color selected, click select and then inverse, then click image and then desaturate. then click select, deselect all. thats pretty much it.
