Question: 1993 Geo Prizm Distributor replacement?
Ok so here's the deal. I own a 1993 Geo Prizm and the distributor just went bad. I'm planning on buying a new one and replacing it but there are a few things I need to know first. First I need to know what the firing order for the spark plugs. It's a 4.5 liter engine only 4 spark plugs. Also I need to know if you have any tips for replacing this part, as of right now Im planning on removing the number one spark plug and setting in a metal rod then twisting the timing bolt (cant locate that right now) till the rod comes as high as possible and drops down just barely. Apparently thats a good way to know when its at TDC. If anyone has some extra tips they'd be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Ya I was actually wrong it is a 1.6 liter.Answer: how do you figure its a 4.5 liter 4 cylinder i would bet its a 1.6 liter or a 1.8 liter
