Question: Is it worth it to get a broken lcd on a canon powershot sd450?

I found a canon powershot sd-450 digital camera in the parking lot. The lcd screen is damaged but does light up to a white color and black where it is damaged. It still takes excellent pictures, which are better than my current digital camera, so I’d like to keep it. Is it possible to get it repaired and if so…. how much would that cost? How hard is it to do myself?

Answer: Nearly impossible. Would probably cost at least 100, more likely US$150 if anyone is willing to do it. Since it shoots pictures, eBay is probably a good way to unload it and put the money towards a better (and working) camera for you.

Answer: You can not. The camera just tells you when you are near empty. It annoying, I know.
