Question: What is a good digital camera to get?

I am looking for a camera that is digital, under $200, takes good pictures, small and durable. I would like to use it for vacation. I am currently using a Pentax ist DS. But I hate to lug that around all vacation. It would be cool if it took great video. I might even pay more for that. Any ideas? Anything to stay way from?

Question: Can I use the Pentax ist battery grip with a Samsung GX-1L?

Just received one as a gift and was told its the same brand Samsung GX-1L is only a re-brand the Pentax ist DL. Does anyone know if the battery grip for the Pentax will work with the samsung. Thanks for any information positive.

Answer: I do not think that Pentax ever made a handful of officers for their * ist DL DSLR. It 'made one for the * ist D, but the door bottom plate was removed to make the Pentax BG-1 unusable on the newer and cheaper models like the DL, DS, and DS2 and their counterparts Samsung. If you talk about third-party grip, they should be interchangeable (* ist DL with the GX-1L). The shutter Dicain taken as the SG-1 is connect via the output port and cable grabs the battery, such as adapting OwnUser uses the DC IN cable and doors version. The GX-1L is almost identical to the * ist and are both universal in scope. The Dicain SG-1 has been confirmed to work with the GX-1L and grip OwnUser should work too. Because these DSLR models were never designed or intended to be taken, ugliness seems to be an attribute of those unfortunate aftermarket products.

can you still attach lenses fro Nikon cool pix P90? i mean like can you put detachable filter to it or polarized lens? can you detached or is there any way you could change it lens to a telephoto lens?? please help i would like to enhance my cam in someway

Answer: There are no threads for an adapter tube or any lens threads for filters. So, at the present time, it looks as though the answer is no. However, that doesn’t mean there won’t be some way to do it in the future. The P-90 only came out last month.

Question: Olympus TCON-1.7x Telephoto Converter Lens no thread at the end of the lens?

Hello, I wanted to know, the TCON-1.7x Telephoto Converter Lens screw (Filter size) at the end of the lens? To screw on filter on the end, as a polarizing and neutral density filter. I have read that it's not them, which is stupid … Thanks a lot!

Answer: the front thread of CLA adapter and the rear thread of the TCON is 55mm filter thread, you can filter placed behind the lens. does not solve the problem for A lens hood tho – pity. Paul
