Question: Help with choosing a DSLR for disabled photographer?
Hello. I would like to venture into the world of DSLR photography but I have a problem with one of my arms. I am unable to bring my hand to my face and so can’t use a viewfinder unless I also use a tripod. I am therefore looking for a camera with liveview. I am on a tight budget to start off and would like to spend up to approx £500 UKP. I have been looking at different cameras and like the look of the Sony Alpha 350 and the Canon EOS 450. Which camera would you recommend or would there be any further options. Many thanks.
Answer: You really need to look at and handle the camera’s. Perhaps one is easier to use one handed? Perhaps you could hold the camera with your good arm and take the picture with your other arm using a remote shutter release? Some are radio controlled so there is no cord.

Question: hello all, I have a Sony A200 DSLR, u do a preview on the screen as 2, this expansion?ive been looking at newer models of Sony Alpha Series, and noticed they have a preview screen that is, you can see what the picture looks like before you the picture, I was just wondering if these are available as I think an additional purchase that would be very useful, especially with shots Tripod
Answer: Edwin's right, of course, I just wanted to say that Live View is not everything, it is to be flipped. You mentioned, tripod mounted, where live-view shots would make sense – it is also useful in the studio (although Sony makes it pretty useless implementation in a studio) and for macro shots taken in situ, where the camera is on the ground (or near) it. And that might account for 1% the photo will take you. For the rest, you are much, much better with the optical viewfinder. It insulates the photographed image of the noise of the environment-creates a better composition, it would appear in strong sunlight – its where you turn off Live View, the camera reacts much more quickly, without live view, and with the viewfinder, hold the camera in a much better position (excluding the tripod you mentioned).
