Question: Nikon COOLPIX S220 camera screen broken!?!?

So today, when I took my camera in my backpack, I realized there was a dark place in it. i turned it on and the screen was white with a big black stain on the upper right corner. I think one of my books and broke the screen ruined it, but am not sure because I did not know was there. I send it to a refurbishing center so they can fix the screen? or is it just cheaper buy a new one? http://pbckt.com/sS.kBS

Answer: I'm afraid to replace the screen would cost more than buying a new camera. Hope this helps.
