Question: How big of SDHC card does Nikon D40 can fit up to?
Is the limited up to 8gb or more or less?
Answer: The D40 definately supports 8gb SDHC cards, as noted at the DCresouce link below.
SDHC card capacities are still increasing. 16Gb and 32Gb cards have been announced and the D40 should support these too, though I cannot find anyone using one yet to confirm.

Question: Nikon D80 Screen Question?I recently bought a Nikon D80. It shows me how many pictures I can on my map in the upper display and adapt it shows [e-], if there is no map. The problem is, does it every time there is a battery in the camera even when it is turned off. This takes very little energy, but I fear that the display could wear (have seen similar shows) go bad in the past. Is there a way to stop it, this does not when the camera is turned off, or do I have only to remove the battery? It is not the battery is running that I am really concerned about, the life of the accused is. I do not want to display signs of wear and missing blocks.
Answer: your ad will not be worn out (I am trusting Nikon uses a decent picture quality). Shows due to physical damage, bad drive waveforms (voltage and slightly more than 50% duty cycle ") and poor construction. I suspect that the displays looked bad you do not go through a protective shield over the display and / or on a product that is the cheapest crappy display could be used to dig (which in most consumer junk) you get from Walmart. This type of display would have gone bad sitting doing nothing. I have good LCD displays last Seen 15 years of continuous use on products for the home.

Answer: If you do not know the exact strength and polarity needed for the camera, you can do much damage to it. Search the web for the necessary specifications. You can also get help from a retailer that makes batteries. Before I got help from a local shop.
