Question: Lomo Diana F+,help please?

Okay so I have a Lomo Diana F+. I know very wll how to use it,but I haven’t buy the film roll yet. Anyone know what size the film roll is? Give me the complete description please! Thanks before

Answer: The Diana F+ uses 120 film. Your camera prefers ISO 400 film. This is the recommended film speed, but you can use ISO100 or 200 in bright sunlight. There are several films that fit this bill, in Black and White, and Color.

I recommend going with a major manufacturer, like Kodak, Ilford or Fuji, because they all use light colored backing paper with black numbers. This is good because it makes reading the frame number through the red counter window much easier.

BW films:
Kodak – Tri-X, Tri-X Pro 320, T-MAX 400
Ilford – Delta Pro 400, HP-5

If you want to shoot BW film, but don’t want to process it yourself or find a BW lab, you can shoot a C-41 based bw film. This is black and white film formulated to be processed in C-41 color chemistry.
Kodak Professional BW400CN

Color Films:
Kodak – Portra 400VC, Portra 400NC
Fuji – Fujicolor Pro400H.

I like to buy my film from my local photo supply store, but if there isn’t one nearby, online stores are good. Freestyle Photo Supply or BH Photo Video are places I frequently buy from and trust to have fresh film in stock.

Question: Lomography Diana 35mm back issue?

On my Lomo Diana F + 35mm rear How do I know if set to "N" or "F" settting? I am using Fujicolor Superior X-tra 400 ISO film. Also how do I know which one to use for the future When I start using different types of films? Thanks!

Answer: The Diana F + N and B has a shutter setting and the rear has a 35mm N and P environment. I know of an "F" setting. Shooting settings. For all the days and photo flash, which normally use the set N, which is about a 1 / 100 of a second. You can use Setting B (Bulb) for long-exposure photo or picture with some interesting blur action frozen by the flash. When set to B, the objective remains open all the time holding the shutter down. This is only needed in low light conditions, and the use of a tripod is recommended. Settings 35 mm behind. Use P if you are using a broader overview of the masks. Set to N if you use one of the 35 mm frame size masks. Using this setting depends on what kind of negative that you want, not the type of film used.
