Question: I can not get my slave for SB800 and SB600 with my D80, can anyone help?

I followed the instructions http://www.nikoncafe.com/vforums/showthread.php?t=190367 with my SB800 on top of my camera and SB600 remotely, but only the SB800 flashes?! I would also like to know how to work them both off, if possible. I need instructions step by step please.

Answer: A problem could be that your wireless SB600 will not be generated if is in line of sight of the flash SB800's. Another problem could be that the instructions you posted are to get the flash pop-up to act as a commander, not the SB800 the camera, as the commander. I suppose you have your SB600 set up correctly because it was the guide that you posted. If I understand correctly, you're trying to get your SB800 mounted on the camera to fire the SB600 wirelessly. If this is the case, you set your SB800 in command mode? There's a brief picture here: http://www.momentcorp.com/review/sb-800master.html There's also a drop down menu on that drive that connects to other guides for setting up the flashes as slaves, too. Good luck!
