Question: How do I shoot connected to a Canon 5D?

Shooting with a 5D and for the first time I want to shoot with your computer. I found the software supplied with the camera loaded (EOS Utility, Zoom Browser and Photos Dig depth) I'm guessing EOS Utility is where I go, but I leave open the section distances. Even tried to download EOS Capture will not open.

Answer: Make sure you have the latest versions of all software including the driver for the computer. If the driver is not installed, the computer does not know the camera is there. Also, setting the new menu: the communication. It 'important to set the PC. (I can not recall at this moment – Have not done this for a while '). But look at the SETUP menu under communication. You can set where you want to view the files on your hard drive (a folder, that is). It drains so much power – even with the handle (two batteries) lasts only a handful of hits. Better to use the A / C power adapter thingie.
