Question: Replacing my reflex mirror on my Nikon FE2?

just picked up a FE2 for $50 with a 80-200mm lens. Unfortunately the reflex mirror has cracks in it and needs replacing. can i still get one and how much will it cost and also how would i go about replacing it. Lastly im guessing if you are answering this question you would know alot about lens also. The lens i got with it has a minor problem also the zoom part you push out to zoom you know works fine but when i zoom back in the part you hold on to with the grooves isnt attached to he rest of the lens and comes loose. what should i do?

Answer: You can look on E-bay for a FE2 with a good mirror, the remainder can be broken or nonworking for your puposes.
You might find a mirror by itself (rare). Or you can get an estimate from a camera shop.

The lens will probably need a lot of work, so more convenient to replace it.
You can look on Ebay for a nikon mount lens, your zoom range is fairly common if you need that range.

Question: Spec images (DSLR)?

I use a Nikon D100 and have experienced any specifications on my images. At first I thought that was the goal that I cleaned and still there. I swapped lenses and is still there. I guess I need to clean the mirror? This is my first SLR camera to explain in detail. Oh, and the points are in the same place each image. Answer: NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use compressed air inside a camera. Same type of hand of a powerful fan can cause damage as well as accommodation land in places even more undesirable. If your sensor is dirty then take it to a camera shop and the actual cleaning.
