Question: What is wrong?!mofukkn with my Kodak EasyShare V530. wont turn on, let me just see my pics when put in the dock. isn't it means working with the A / C adapter or another. This device was like $ 300, wtf? like it wont turn except for like 2 seconds and turns back off. idk wtfs up. Oh yeah, lost my manual.
Answer: If a new battery will not resolve or if it does not work on the platform, it is probably a problem with the lens is stuck. If the objective is stuck in the camera does not turn properly. The light is blinking and it will be cut back. The objective should be repaired by a repair of the camera. Bob K http://www.CameraRepairs.com

if you could let me know what ones out of the three that would meet my needs best i would appreciate it.
Answer: Firstly I would not even consider buying the Tamron lens. You have purchased a fine high quality picture taking camera. Purchasing an aftermarket lens, unless it is the only thing you can afford, will detract from the picture taking quality of the camera you have purchased. The only way you should ever purchase an aftermarket lens is if you just can’t afford something better.
As to the 2 Canon lenses that you are considering, both lenses when used and supported properly will take outstanding quality pictures for you. The USM lens will focus a little more quickly and quietly, but either of these lenses will take outstanding quality pictures. I need to make a suggestion though… both of these lenses are capable of extreme magnification. When you magnify faraway objects, you also magnify camera movement which is the major contributor to unsharp pictures. You will not be able to hand hold either of these lenses steadily at much magnification. When you order your new lens I suggest ordering a sturdy tripod (if you don’t already have one), at the same time. In my opinion, and I have owned and operated a professional commercial photography business for over 40 years, anytime you are using either of these Canon lenses you should also be using a tripod if you are to expect great clear images.
Just a little clarification on the term “Macro”. A true macro lens is what we call a flat field focus lens which is specifically designed for extreme close-up photography with edge to edge image sharpness as you would find it with the Canon 100mm macro lens. In the case of the Tamron lens however, I think that you’ll find that this is simply a telephoto Zoom lens with a separate setting to allow it to focus closer to your subject than most telephoto zoom lenses will allow. It would be like putting a close-up lens on your Canon telephoto Zoom lens allowing it to focus closer to your subject, but with no true macro flat field edge to edge sharpness advantage, in other words just an advertising buzz word.

Question: Nikon 18-200mm VR or 55-200mm VR?Hello, I have a Nikon D40 with 18-55mm kit lens and a 50mm F1.8 lens. I would like to a Buy a tele-zoom lens, add in my lens collection. Made for my photos of habit, I usually vacation photos, portraits and landscapes / landscape photos. I have no tripod, so therefore I like the VR feature. Now I'm not sure which one to get? Please advise. The reason I think about the 18-200mm is that I do not need to Lenses swap and the VR II (although not sure if it is a big difference vs. VR I). or the 70-300mm VR?
Answer: I have the 18-200 VR and my wife has the 50-200 VR. Here is my on the 18-200 (which you take for the trip) and a link to a review for the 55-200. The Nikon 18-200 VR lens … Okay it is not the world is the perfect lens, but it is not too shabby. Go here and read Rockwell's review: Here is http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/18200.htm the Nikonians Forum review: http://www.nikonians.org/nikon/nikkor-18-200/ Go here and look at the sample images. Click again on the image and it is 100% Size larger, so you really examine the picture. Http: / / www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/18200/examples/index.htm "Optically, this lens is the best Superzoom we have seen, but it is not compatible with Nikon Teleconverter, rings, or coupled macro bellows. It also costs about $ 300 more than third-party digital-only Glass. But are extremely rugged construction, unusually well-controlled distortion, and four extra speed handholdable worth extra bucks? All this and much more.
