I was getting into my brand new Subaru Legacy (literally a week old) in quite a rush because of a sudden downpour, when my umbrella hit the center console and left a silver gash on the top right-side. When you feel it with your finger, there is no indentation– just this stupid mark. Now, normally I wouldn’t care, but as the car is brand new I would have liked to keep it scratch free for a little more than a week. Now every time I get into my car, I see the scratch. Now my question: how do I remove or cover the scratch to match my black interior, without having to remove the console from the car.
