Question: What type of power adapter you can use with my Canon Power Shot S2 digital camera?

There is a certain type I need? Does the Commission have to be branded Canon? How much does this cost? If I have one of these, it means that I can only connect to the electrical outlet and use the power electricity? I'm assuming that's what a power adapter is. Just do not want to end up buying the wrong thing.

Answer: Power adapter connects the camera to the electrical outlet just like any other power devices. Your Canon S2 User's Manual says that you should use on … "Compact Power Adapter CA-PS700" It's on page 171 of the camera user guide. I do not know if you have to use the mark Canon … probably could use another brand as long as the specific power are the same. You should perhaps ask for a major retailer of the camera, which might be able to help with an AC adapter compatible. In any event, the 171 page manual gives the specs.
