Question: how much is my kodak retina 1b worth? it has flash gun light meter lens brush camera and case?

Answer: Hello Ruby,

As with anything, the goods up for offer do not dictate a worth, rather, the condition it is in.

ebay is selling for about £30, but a lot of the sites that I checked out say that this is a good camera, worth more.

This site says much about the camera and has guide prices

Your best bet (if you want to sell it) would be to a collector. The different ways of doing this are

In a collector/camera specialist auction
To a collector
Through a collector site on the internet. You can find these by doing a search of “kodak retina” (include the quotation marks)

All the best

Question: Are membranes better than DSLR SLR membranes?

I have problems with the slow pace of membranes in my several SLR cameras (Kodak Retina Reflex was, Konica, Exacta, and Nikon). All appear for a year or so OK, then sticky, so that all the pix, the maximum exposure covering. Question: DSLR cameras are likely to improve , or they are one year fixed-camera? I really do not want to over $ 1000 for a camera that goes only to take a year – or less.

Answer: Exakta, and the Kodak Retina, is not it? Lens manufacturers have significantly improved the blades and lubricants since. These new lenses are much better ;-)

We hope you found this page on Kodak Retina useful… In case you didn”t find what you were after, give the search box above a try! (It”s amazingly intuitive.)
