Question: CAn I take my camera & equipment on the plane?

Hi, I am flying out to Australia tomorrow and am planning on taking my SLR camera along with all of my equipment in my hand luggage, its not really big, only a bag like a camcorder case. I just dont want any hassle at the airports! I will be taking my camera, 2 lenses, battery charger, all in the same bag, So will I be allowed to take these on the aircraft?

Answer: No problem.

I’ve taken about 30 flights with my dSLR equipment as hand luggage. Those were with various airlines, to various destinations (including Australia) and nobody has ever said anything about it. The rules are:
* Only one piece of hand luggage – with generous size and weight restrictions. If you want that one piece to be a camera bag, that’s fine. If you want to carry more stuff on-board, put everything in one larger bag (just mind the size restrictions.)
* No liquids. That includes lens cleaning fluid. Officially you have to present fluids in a transparent plastic bag, and containers have to be smaller than 100ml. I don´t bother with the extra hassle and just leave my lens cleaning fluid in my camera bag. No one has ever given me a problem with that.
* Electronic devices have to be turned off during take-off and landing… that includes dSLRs.

The x-ray equipment at the boarding gate will not damage anything. Unlike film, dSLR equipment and memory cards are not affected.

There are additional restrictions concerning hand luggage (no pocket knives, etc.) but none that pertain to camera gear.

You were pretty clear in the original question – the battery charger kind of gave away that you use a digital SLR

Just to confirm, you can bring everything along in your hand luggage. No problem.

Question: How to upload things I recorded on my phone to you tube?

I have some ideas of songs that I put on you tube I taped usign the record function on my phone. Is this possible or needs to be a video? in that case can I use anything other than a video camera? camera mobile Internet, perhaps?

Answer: u should go find a USB cable that connects to your pc and then ur doing ur from there
