My daughter brought a kodak digital camera from a shop on ebay, and we are quite happy with it. The write-up certainly seemed to imply it was new and it did come in sealed packaging. However the box it was packaged in has “Kodak Factory Reconditioned ” written on it. Does this mean it is not new?

Answer: Camera was returned to store for various reasons then sent to manufacturer to refurbish & make salable. This is much like a “Certified Preowned” car from a dealer. Warranties are usually valid but be sure to check.

Q: definition of "factory-sealed" digital camera?

I bought a "factory sealed" cannon digital camera on eBay. The picture that the camera actually occurred was not "closed" – it was not necessary to cut any tape or anything. I took Open the tab and took the camera from a bag. Now the seller says "that's the way it is" I need a definition of "factory-sealed "When you bought your camera, it did come in the same manner as described?

Answer: should be sealed …. so u have to cut some tapes or closing tag for the Completion of the box …

Question: Purple in my black and white prints? Please Help ?

I just bought a Canon inkjet printer and i’m using it to print black and white photos. It keeps printing out a strange purple tone that is in the white tones and the gray tones. How can I change the settings to print a clearer, truer, black and white print. Working on home PC with windows Vista, Micrographx Picture Publisher is my editing software and the printer is a Canon Pixma MP560. My paper is Kodak Photo Paper Gloss. Any suggestions??? Please.

Answer: it sounds like you printer is printing B&W with the color cartridge. See if you can get a cartridge specifically for B&W photo printing.

Question: What type of photo paper is better for inkjet printer? Glossy or semi-gloss?

Answer: This depends on what you want your photos appear. One of them is good, the difference is clear. I prefer semi-gloss because it shows fewer fingerprints after handling images. Advice Otero and stick to a brand of paper, generating not always print the best colors.
