Question: Will a Pan/Tilt tripod head work well as a video head?
I am getting a tripod for use to shoot video of surfing. So I will be panning, following the surfer on the wave. Will a 3 way pan tilt head work for this or should I go with a video head such as the manfrotto 700rc2? Price is an issue because I can get the Slik Pro700dx with the pan tilt head for $140, but if I get the 700dx legs with the video head, it's around $200. Let me know what you think I should do.
Answer: you probably shouldn't have a ball head, but a 3-way lock head...
one where you have 3 independent controls...
but would you REALLY need to spend that kind of cash??? get a cheap tripod for the beach...

14.at least 3-4 MPAnswer: i think the best pick for such specifications will be one from Canon Powershot Series or one from Sony CyberShot Series. anything other than that will not be a good investment. they have all you need plus a much better lens which will produce great quality shots. lenses are the most important part of the cameras as of the quality point of view.

Question: Why is the LCD screen as a viewfinder in the open? Shading, it does not help.?I can use a Canon digital camera purchase with a large 3-inch LCD screen without an optical viewfinder, but I will have problems, outside, or I could be a model with a small 2.5-inch screen with an optical received Seekers have. Both models cost about same.Will the optical viewfinder, so my photos outside frame? I have tried to shade the LCD screen on my phone, but it helps not. I do not want a camera that I can not be used to stick to. I do not know how people their laptops in bright sunlight, for me it is unwatchable. I would be the bigger screen for indoors but prefer most of my photography is done outdoors in bright sunshine. Any suggestions? The model with a larger screen is great indoors and buy a better one. What should I do?
