Question: What Polaroid instant cameras are compatible with Fuji’s FP-100C film?

Can someone list the polaroid instant cameras that can take Fuji’s FP-100c film? I want to buy one.

Answer: From the Land List, these cameras can use the Fuji Packfilms in the 3.25×4.25 size:

You are more likely to find the cheaper plastic body cameras at the thrift stores. If you do find the older, nicer folding pack cameras, be aware that a little mod might be necessary to convert the camera from a special battery to use a small 2-AAA battery pack, or you can just clip the connectors off and tape the bare ends of the wire to the corresponding end of a 3v lithium battery.

Question: Is it safe to use mineral turpentine to clean Polaroid instant?

I wish to dispose of an oil painting based on a Polaroid instant photo. I need a cleaner that will not harm the photo, but will dissolve in oil painting.

Answer: It is not safe! Get Pec-12 or similar cleansing emulsion in a local camera store. If everyone has exited the business in line with everybody goes, that is your next choice.
