Answer: People, people – where is everyone going to learn. You buy tools cheap – you get cheap tools. Drive is now a tool of imports, made in Japan, Taiwan, China, which has some good tools. Look at the plate in the drill – do you have plastic in it – Yes! Can the motor brushes or repaired or replaced – No! So if the drill spoil – You can buy just the drill – No! A good DeWalt XRP drill has a chuck $ 45 on it, all metal. It has a high resistance switch designed 18volt drill for $ 45. It has hardened steel gears and a transmission that offers maximum torque of motor.The 18volt brushes can be replaced, is guaranteed a year in the hole and 2 years of the batteries. The 5-year warranty some tools are screaming about covers only factory defects! manufacturing defects. If you want a good deal – buy something that has quality in it. Much is not based on a cheap price. Do you really think a good year, 2 batteries, charger and case may be sold for $ 99?? Ridgid is making money with this rig, Home Depot is making money on it. So you probably have less $ 70 worth of things in the entire kit. It is not meant to be repaired. If you buy it – keep your receipt handy because you will need for returns. And Home Depot will forward it to say that warranty center if something goes wrong – that is not going to just give you a new one. And in 6 months – that the model will no longer be stored at the Home Depot. Then is really annoying. And new tools Rockwell – not the old Rockwell name you used to use.
