Question: pentax K1000 rewind button/ it broke how do I fix it?

I have a pentax K1000 asahi. The manual rewind button came off and I cant seem to get it back on. I know it screws back on but somehow it wont stay on. I know it is probably something simple, but just havent figured it out yet. Please any help with this would be appreciated, its my favorite camera. thanks.

Answer: If you’re in the USA, email Garry at garryscamera@yahoo.com and ask if he can fix it. Garry charges $45 + $8 shipping for a full Clean, Lubricate and Adjust, calibrates the meter and shutter and replaces light seals and mirror bumpers as needed. He usually has a 7 to 10 day turnaround.
