Question: Is there a remote for the Nikon F100?
I just got a Nikon F100 and am wanting to take time exposures with it. But if you set the self timer on with Bulb the shutter only stays open for 1/10th of a second. Is there a remote or a shutter release cord for it? I don’t like pushing down the shutter manually on bulb cus it shakes the picture. So any help with this problem??
Answer: Yes.

Question: Choosing between Cable release or IR remote release?I have a Nikon D80, and I want to take pictures of the paths of stars. I realize I need some sort of statement from camera to avoid camera shake with long-exposure images. My question is, the ML-L3 Remote allow things like 'bulb settings' to my paths of stars? Or must a general release of the spinal cord, where can I close it? Or … there is an infrared remote opening that has the ability to use the "bulb" easily set you would recommend? In fact, I prefer to "set and forget" for a while, instead of holding my finger on the button of hours at a time. Thanks for the tips!
Answer: I use the ML-3 for the paths of stars. It works well, I have to use a clip to hold the button itself. And it runs on a battery, so if in the middle of a shot from the batteries go dead, the shutter will close and only lost 20 minutes of his life. I would go with the cable, much cheaper I do not think you need batteries (check, do not take my word). You may still have some system that platform to hold down the button, but check them out, Nikon has a few really nice remote control. Another note on the ML-3, must have its purpose is the sensor all the time. The remote does not have a tripod mount in the bottom, but this may create problems if you only have a tripod.

Question: 3 month old Spaniel at the beach?
We are thinking of taking Tess and Millie to the beach today. Of course, we won’t be going for long as Millie will get tired out quite quickly.
We are thinking since she doesn’t know any recall we will put her on the retractable leash and we will let Tess off.
We are going take our camera with us so we can send some pictures to her previous owner as she did want to see pictures of her growing and with her new owners.
Do you think this is an ok idea?
Would a 3 month old puppy be ok at the beach?
Tess was about 6 months old when we first took her to the beach.
I don’t think it will be a problem but what are your thoughts?
Would she be ok in the sea?She has had all her vaccinations and the beach we are going to allows dogs.
Answer: As long as she has had all her vaccinations she will be fine.
She will probably be cautious of the sea, but will enjoy a paddle. We have taken both our dogs to the beach since they had all their jabs and they absolutely love it, they both swim and run for miles.
We are now itching to take the puppy (8 weeks so a few more weeks to wait) and feel sure she’ll love it too.Have a great time!

Question: Why all Hooplah during the VP debates? Are they usually without consequence?Bentsen-Quayle … Ferraro, HW Bush … Rarely are they changing Thurs. I have a hunch the only reason to Hooplah is b / c it's so rare for Palin to be off his leash and talk to the camera.
Answer: Although I like Biden, he and Palin are likely to say something stupid. not change the election, but will be entertaining.
