Question: Is it OK to use an Olympus FL-36 flash with a Canon 450D?

I have an Olympus E-300 DSLR with Olympus FL-36 flash. My camera broke and I thought finding a Canon 450D. Is it possible to use the flash with the Canon 450D?

Answer: I just tried a FL36 and FL36R on a Canon DSLR (Not a 450D, but a 50D) and it was not recognized. The series seems to agree FL36/42 Olympus and Panasonic – They have difficulty with certain wireless remote systems too. If you are interested I can tell someone who might be you exchange a Super Sigma 500 with the Canon mount for your FL36. It is considerably more powerful than the FL36. They broke a Canon and I bought an Olympus. Either that or sell it on eBay and buy a flash with the appropriate funds.

Question: Do you need help with my Olympus Camedia C3000 Zoom digital camera.?

My brother bought it for me off Craigslist for only $ 10 so that have not a huge investment in IT, but I have no manuals or anything. The problem I have is that no matter how many different Smart Media memory cards I in this camera, flash drive, if it is on the media card ever to flash on and light up the screen normally. I have tried the obvious batteries and diff. Media cards not Success. Has anyone else this problem? Any suggetions?

Answer: You may have to spend a few dollars more and have someone look at the camera. It can be a bit easier holding you back.
