Question: What is your best “secret”, or “tip” for wedding photography?

What is your fool-proof, can’t-live-without secret that works for professional wedding photography?

Answer: Ask the client what they are looking for. Use your smarts – don’t shoot up at people on the alter, for example – you wind up with unflattering shots up people’s noses.

Make sure to take photos other than formals. Formals are nice, but that quiet moment after the ceremony where they look at each other is nicer.

You don’t say if you’re the bride or the photographer – the advice would be better if we knew.

Make sure that you look at people before you shoot. It the father of the groom had a big hairy mole on the left side of his face, switch the bride and groom so that side is away from the camera. If you look before you line them up, it’s much less embarrassing.

Question: How can I get experience in wedding photography when you're not a professional?

Have you by email or telephone companies wedding photography and ask them if they need assistants? or do you start with the studio work easy. So far I have built my portfolio with commands and freelance photography club. And I took pictures from 1 wedding indoor, but very little there other options when looking for gigs on craigslist?

Answer: An internship is the best way. talk to local wedding photographer to see if you could help us if you can work with them for some time in May they give you a chance to become a second shooter. This will help you build your port and you do some work. This may take some time, but you'll become a better photographer for her.

Question: Any suggestions on this wall color idea?

Right now three of my walls are light blue and one is dark blue and the problem is my new blue (I have waaay too much blue!) carpet does not match. I was thinking of re-painting three walls white and black wall paper, maybe get on the other side. I also want to paint all of the wood so that it looks gray created a kind of silver to a modern setting. Does anyone have any ideas whether this will work? Or will it boring? Or has anyone any other suggestions? I really want to make it something like a NYC or other big city, loft / studio apartment, with the exception of soil look natural. I'm 14 and I do not know if he is young enough to thank. All the answers! = D

Answer: I like your Idea – with a few changes. Playing around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the Internet, imho. I like how their color palette is created, I want that you can search by color family & color name, painted "rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests the Coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours: http://www.sherwin.com/visualizer/ I think it would look great on three of the walls "off gray "(# 6197) and then create a mural of New York City on the wall – like one of these: http://www.americanblinds.com/products/wallpaper/product_detail. asp?
