Question: How do I clean up an aisle lined with silk rose petals for indoor ceremony?

I want to line the aisles inside a church with silk rose petals. We are going to have limited time after the ceremoy to clean up the church, and we are responsible for cleaning up (which is ridiculous considering the amount of money we're spending on renting the church). I need suggestions as to how to go about cleaning up the rose petals. I am using an aisle runner, but that will not go out until I have walked down the aisle. The rose petals will be lining the aisles prior to the aisle runner going down. I was thinking I might be able to put something underneath the rose petals and have the rose petals sticking to it, but that seems like a lot of work. Has anyone else has rose petals lining the aisles for an indoor ceremony?

Answer: I'd just vacuum them up afterward. If you want to keep them afterward, use a new or freshly-cleaned Shop-Vac with a new filter on it. That way they won't get all smashed up in the roller brush of a normal floor vacuum.
