Question: My camera won’t record!?

Okay, my camera works fine, except for the that it will NOT record. It is a Canon ZR65 MC (Mini DV) and when I turn it to record, the screen is just all black and you can’t see anything, but the HUD is still there. It’s as if the lens cap is still on.

Yes everything is hooked up… all on it works correctly except record mode…
