Question: Why are deleted pictures showing up on my memory card?

I took some photos with an Olympus Camedia camera, unloaded the photos to my computer, and then erased the card before taking new photos. But when I hooked the camera up to my computer again to unload the new photos, I saw that they were the same photos as the ones I’d deleted beforehand. In the camera, though, I view the new pictures.

I think it has something to do with my camera’s naming functions. Instead of continuing with numbering (ex. set 1 is p1-p7; next set should be p8-p…), it starts again at the default first filename.

My computer runs Ubuntu, in case that’s important, but I haven’t had this problem with other cameras or memory cards.

How do I fix this?
I clicked on “format card” before taking the new pictures; I didn’t just delete them.

Answer: The best way to handle this is to simply reformat the card in the camera after you’ve dumped pics to your computer.

The reason that you see them after deleting them is that you don’t really delete pics when you hit the delete button.

What really happens is that the camera marks the image as safe to overwrite. It also tags it, telling the camera to ignore the image when reviewing pics, and to ignore it when telling you how much room for pics is left on the card.

That’s why people can use that software to resuce images.

Anyway, your computer is ignoring or not reading the tags properly.

Question: I have a olympus fe-140 camera …?

and used to use Camedia 4.2 to download the photos onto my computer .. But I have a computer new Camedia cannot download because i dont have the case with the serial number. Are there any other programs that you can download free? nice answers only please x

Answer: There should have been included Olympus Master CD with the camera that has the software available in it.

Question: What do pregnancy cramps feel like to you?

So according to the ovulation calculator i was due to start ovulation sept 23. i had sex the 22nd and a few days after theovulation start date. A week after (oct 2) i started getting crampy type pains. Noticed orangish/brownish spotting on my panties. Literally spots. and when i wiped it was a light pink discharge. The cramps continued but they are not severe. more mild. In the last week i have been having like cramps but they are like stretchy type cramps. they feel like something is stretching.its weird. DOES ANYBODY know what im talking about? And why would the color of the implantation bleeding appear to have a orangish color to it? I was due for my period Oct 10th so im 3 days late and test this morning and its neg. HELP PLEASE!!!

Answer: I got spotting around 9-10 DPO…it was just a little bit and rust colored..started pinkish but had a darker color stain in my underwear.

I think mine are more like twinges sometimes–like a cramp is about to start but I dont get the full cramp…just like the begining of a cramp that keeps going.

Question: neg blood test – was the beginning?

? Implantation bleeding brown 11/15 and 11/16 is never very light pink – had wear a pad for protection. I read that the bleeding implanation is when the egg begins to connect the uterus and that you should wait 4 days after the last day of your telescope to take a HPT – it was neg this morning. Since I have not had a period from 10/16 my OB suggested a blood test today to see if I was pregnant. E 'was also negative. I have left of being pregnant and have tried since February Does anyone know if I tested early as this was only 5 days after the sightings stopped? Someone did a neg blood test and then discovered that they were pregnant at a later date?

Answer: Blood tests are rather accurate. are able to detect the pregnancy only after about 5 days.
