Question: In a canon digital camera is there a way to make it take pictures at a lower resolution to save card space?

On my old camera there is a way to make it take pictures at a smaller megapixel size so the images are smaller and take up less space on the memory card. Is there a way I can do that on my canon powershot d10? I don’t see it anyhere ! :(
No I left th manual at home and I’m in Florida now. And Paul I know app of that but I don’t know how

Answer: On that camera you can go all the way down to 1600×1200 resolution. Set it there and you’ll fit millions onto the card.
But why on Earth would you want to do that? Just doesn’t make sense. Why pay top dollar for a 12MPixel camera to use one or two megapixels?
Just buy another SD card. They’re almost free nowadays.

Question: Micro SD memory card of a Canon digital camera?

My Canon Powershot digital camera comes with a 16MB memory card that is very little capacity. So I put a Micro SD 1GB memory, that I took off my Nokia mobile phone) for the camera. It took about 60 shots, but after each photo I took (after 10 seconds) I get a message on the screen that says "corrupted data" I thought it was something less than the capacity reduced after each shot and showed the card was full. I moved the pictures to my computer and found that of 60 only 3 are visible, 5 were damaged and can not open the rest. Please help me out these photos were days of my graduation ceremony. I am very worried …

Answer: I am sure that the Canon requires a standard SD card but the phone requires a microSD card. Many (if not all) come with a microSD card adapter that lets you convert from microSD to SD standard. This is responsible for the physical installation of a memory card into two devices that need cards of different sizes. What I do not know is whether the format is different from standard microSD to SD. That's why I always format each new memory card using the device that I will use the memory card in. For example I use a PC and a card reader on a memory card format that later used in a camera. I let the camera do the first format, then take photos with him. Perhaps this is what corrupts your data, first format the card in a phone, and then move a camera to take pictures. In your case, I wonder if this could work. Put the card in the phone again and see if you can lift your photos IHE. Be sure not to format the card now, because you lose everything. If that fails, I do not know what to do. Good luck.

Question: A few months ago I asked a question about underwater diving video cameras. Can you help?

The camera must be as lightweight as possible (ideally tube shaped) WITHOUT housing, and that can be used for diving, or even mounted on a neoprene helmet (or strapped to an arm) for other activities in and out of the water to give a 1st person perpective. Please help!!!
The video camera must be able to record into something that could be either in the camera or somewhere else on my body as I plan on using this for diving/swimming etc

Answer: You’ll be hard pressed to find one without spending thousands of dollars. Here’s one with housing that would probably have mounting brackets…maybe a good place to start.

Question: Does anyone know where I can find a skin for my new Nikon Coolpix S210?

I was looking for a neoprene-ish skin for my camera. I looked everywhere and can not find the template I need. They have the S200 but not S210. Thank you.

Answer: try skinit.com have a lot of things to "skin", but if u cannot find the exact model, sometimes the cameras may have the same shape and the skin of a camera could be the same skin for the camera. stickers are thick in each case so that should be fine either way. good luck
