Question: My Fuji FinePix S2 pro camera needs the Compact Flash interface changing, can anyone help?

The end two pins of the compact flash interface inside my s2 pro camera have bent over rendering the camera useless, much to my horror.

Do any of you know if this can be fixed, how long it would take, and if anywhere in Buenos Aries, Argentina could do this for me?

Many thans!

Answer: It will be VERY difficult to fix these pins without opening the camera. You MIGHT be able to grab them one at a time with a pair of thin needlenose plyers and put them back to straight. CAUTION! You will only get one chance to fix them yourself! These pins are fragile and they will BREAK OFF if you bend 2-3 times. You have already bent them once (the way it sits now), so you get one more chance to pull them UP straight. IF you are successful, I suggest carefully putting in a large capacity CF card and LEAVE IT IN forever more! Use the USB CABLE to extract images from the memory card rather than physically removing the CF card.

If you can NOT fix the pins, then a Fuji repair center can have at it, but the service charge will cost 60-70% of the full cost of a new camera!

Another excellent place to find Pro Camera is on Amazon… They have way more than just books!

Question: I look better on my camera phone of my semi-pro camera?

I thought semi pro cameras should make u look r more pleasant? What's the deal with this? the colors get better on my camera phone and the features RNT distorted the way in which the semi my camera, dad says the slow corners in the middle a bit ', could only be so?

Answer: If you are taking photos you, then of course its going to be different. Semi-pro cameras are only as good as the person holding it. Yes, the goal is a curve to it, but its barely perceptible, if at all. I would say that we must work with the camera settings to get the best image. Image-nut.com has a good selection of tutorials that will help you understand the outside.

We hope you enjoyed our resources on Pro Camera… If you did not find what you were searching for, try the search box above! (It”s pretty smart.)
