Question: What Macro Zoom lens is best for Canon DLSR?
I need to find a macro zoom lens for Canon Rebel XT. Price range – up to $ 1,200.00 USD. I am looking for suggestions on which lens is the best quality for my price range.
Thanks!
Answer: The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro is one of Canon’s true macro lens.
Notice it is not a zoom lens. This macro lens is for use in critical macro environments such as scientific research, medical photography and investigations where edge to edge sharpness and luminance as well as the ability to take photos of subjects at a true 1:1 image ratio is required.
If you search the Internet you will find that the only zoom macro lenses for your camera are made by third-party manufacturers. Sigma and Tamron both make a variety of zoom macro lenses. Lenses in the 24-85mm range are the least bulky, but your needs will dictate what lens you eventually choose.

Question: Canon lens recommendation for the shooting of lava from a helicopter in Big Island of Hawaii.?What is your recommendation for a telephoto lens Canon zoom for filming volcanoes and lava flows from a helicopter in Hawaii? I think the difference between f / 2.8 and F / 4 really matters?
Answer: Here are some tips for aerial photography … plane of 300 'above the subject in a helicopter. If you want to photograph with a small sensor digital SLR target required is at least 70 millimeters from a helicopter. One advantage of using a helicopter is that they rarely need a lens longer than 100 millimeters to isolate a point of reference. To get a sharp picture from an airplane in rapid motion, which is at the same time is vibrated by the engine to be sure to: * shutter speed, faster is better * ISO setting, allowing higher shutter speeds faster in less bright sunshine * Wide / telephoto setting, if you zoom in a telephoto perspective, six magnification of the subject, but also the magnification of the movement * The speed of aircraft, slower is better * in-camera or in the stabilization Image lens, turn it to reverse the effects of vibration gyroscope * mountains, which are what the professionals use and are essential for the video (so that the definitely optional, if you're an amateur on vacation …) The easiest and best way to stop the movement is to use a fast shutter speed. Somewhere Part of 1/500th or 1/750th of a second stops most blur with lenses up to 100 mm in length on a full-frame camera. On a digital SLR, set the mode Exposure to "S" for "shutter priority" or "TV" for "time-priority value. Use the main control wheel to select "500", "640", or "750" meters indoors and the camera will result in a corresponding opening Objective for correct exposure as the lighting. If it's a sunny day, you're probably ok with an aperture of f / 5.6, assuming the your pictures come out looking for a good camera in the preview window. If you have a histogram function of the camera You can review that, as a sanity check too. The bars of the histograms should be neither thick against the sides to the left or right, but develops through the center. Be sure to get shots of dried lava flows along the western side of the island too – including the altar-looking piles of small rocks that people built precariously on the flows. Aloha and good luck!

Question: I have a Nautilus Soft step treadmill which is set for 220. How do I change it to a 110. The motor is 220/110?
There are two diagrams on the motor showing Low Voltage and High voltage. At the bottom of the diagrams it says: To Rev ROT interchange #5 & #8.
Answer: ignore rotation wires unless it goes backwards….and wire it as the 110v diagram says…however realize the 110 voltage will now DOUBLE the amperage required for it to run…. thus a 12 amp motor at 220 will now run and require a 24 amp outlet and circuit..to run….(as an example) which means running a new 30 amp circuit for it..
if it was running even at 9 amps at 220 that would make it 18 amps at 110…..and that too by code would require a 30 amp outlet…since NO one device can use over 16 amps on a circuit, and that is why i am guessing they wired it for 220

Question: What you put in your hair to keep curls big soft inside when you lie down and roll?I speak of these big rollers you can buy that you do not have heat, you just put your hair up in them. I recently bought some and am not very sure how to use them. Please help.:)
Answer: Comb a good setting lotion through lightly towel dried hair before you put your entire head on jumbo sized rollers, then let your hair "air dry" may take a few hours depending on the length of your hair, avoid using curling irons, hot rollers and dryers hooded as they all can cause damage heat, use organic based shampoos and conditioners for your hair to stop the accumulation of chemicals startup Important note jumbo rolls normally give your hair body and wave, if you want to make loops depending on the length of hair, you should use medium rollers 11 / 2 "- 2" diameter
