Question: I have a Sanyo Xacti CG10 but need help with some issues with it…?

When I record in “low light” which doesnt seem low at all, the camera looks very grainy. So I changed the ISO’s to 100-400 when I did that the picture looks clear but it is still way to dark. Is this something that can be fixed or do I just have to accept that quality? Also, when I try to load the video from my camera to the computer the image skips. The audio sounds perfect but the image jumps like it isnt fast enough……. Anyone else having this problem and know how to fix it?

I have a High Speed High Capacity SD Card.
Windows XP Operating System
Quick Time
Windows Media Player
Plenty of memory
I do have a camera card reader… tried that and it didn’t do any better…. Would this be the camera havcing issues or maybe the program that I have on my computer…..

Answer: Using a camera in low light will be grainy to some degree. Light is the cameras best friend. You need to spend a lot of money for really good quality.

Are you able to use a card reader instead? That might make a diff.

Question: How do I transfer videos off my camcorder?

I have a Sanyo HD Xacti VPC-CG10 and use a SandDIsk video HD memory card. When I put the memory card into my computer, it will only let me transfer pictures, and doesn’t even recognize the videos. Please help! I’m going to Japan soon and need to be able to store these!

Answer: Have you thought to check the manual?

Also, its possible it stores the videos in a different location from the pictures.

Question: How do I shoot in black and white using a Canon 400d?

Hi I have a Canon 400d digital SLR. Ages ago, I remember doing some shots in black and white and I’m sure that I changed a setting on my camera, but I can’t seem to find anything that says change from colour to black and white… can anyone advise? Thank you.

Answer: 1. Press and “Picture Style” will appear.
2. Press up/down key to select “Monochrome”.

[Monochrome]
For black-and-white photos.
Other than with RAW, the black-and-white photo cannot be reverted to color.
If you want to later shoot pictures in color,
make sure the [Monochrome] setting has been canceled.
When [Monochrome] is selected, will appear on the LCD monitor.

Please look over the next image of manual.
