Question: How to clear out dust in my digital camera lens?

I have a Canon SD450 and when I take night shots, I sometimes get these blurred spots on my pictures. It looks like dust got into my camera through the small crevices and through the retractable lens and is only noticeable while taking night shots. Day shots I guess there’s enough light to drown out the dust. The dust is not on the external lens…I’ve cleaned it with a dust cloth and it’s spotless but the spots still appear. Is there a way to blow/suck out the dust from the internal side of the lens?

Answer: Dust inside the lens will be visible in all images as dark spots or blobs.

If the spots are white and occur in flash shots, it’s the flash reflecting off particles in the air.

Cleaning Question: How and keep, safe in Lens Canon Rebel XS?

I wonder what is the best way to maintain and clean the LCD screen and lens of the Rebel XS. Moreover, it is better, usually leave the lens, or remove them. I have a bag for the camera and asked me if it safe is to simply leave it in your pocket with the lens cap on, or above and will be in the pocket or ruined. I have heard that there were lens protectors can be bought, but they do not change the image quality at all?

Answer: To clean the LCD and lens, a microfiber cloth and a blower is usually all you need. Microfiber cloths are pretty much the cloth, then wipe with glasses, you can no longer cheap. Question: second hand SLR camera that low on cost, anybody have a recomendation??

hi all, i’m searching for a second hand camera film, but i want it to have full features but low cost at the same time
i prefer the price for the camera is not more than $130 body and the lens…

did anyone has a recomendation of what i should buy?
my friend offers me his Pentax MZ-50 with 35-80mm for $125, is it good enough since i’m new in this film camera thing..

Answer: Hello. I doubt that you’ll find much out there for $130 for a lens and a body, but for around $200 you could get a Canon EOS Rebel K2 with a 28-90mm lens. I have this model and I love it, especially to do some manual focus shots. If you could find a good used Pentax ZX60 with the body and lens, it’s a nice camera with depth of field preview. This model is not in production but if found can be real good. I’d stick to Canon as they’ve been around a long time and have so many accessories too. Before you buy the camera from your friend, ask if you can borrow it. Then go get a cheap roll of film and do a series of test shots with it, and after developing if it all works out well perhaps then go for it. You may find the manual online if friend doesn’t have it, but it may cost. Good luck.

Q: digital camera question about the date in the right corner of the image?

just got a new digital camera. the Polariod the T830 and the date is shown in yellow on the lower right corner. my friend claims theres a way to get rid of me if its possible or not it.tell to remove it and if well, let me know how. =] By the way I did read the owner's manual and could not find anything about it

Answer: SSET go to the menu (the menu where you can change the time) and look for the date stamp. You should be able to put it out there.
