Question: Can i Buy any Desktop case when building a new desktop?

i was wondering if it affected what hardware i could put into it, like maybe the motherboard would be too big or the hard drive to small.

Answer: You decide on what case you want and then build your system with what can fit in that case. Personally I look for the hardware first meaning motherboard and processor before I find a case since the case is insignificant to the overall performance of the system. Once I know what hardware I’m getting then I look long and hard for that “prefect” case that might be exactly what I’m after but one that offers the best cooling for my system. Cooling is key when building a performance system or any system for that matter. Since heat is so detrimental to a computer try to find a case that offers more than 1 fan, 3 would be best and maybe has openings where you can add additional fans.

Question: Dell T100 Desktop Power board, keeps displaying a warning message on start up.says "case has been opened" help?

I need this off. Please help if you can? So, once again, just started, the CPU displays a message saying "This case was opened" and I have to press F1 to continue. Help?

Answer: Warning: your computer case has been opened Problem: Every time I start the system I get the following message: Warning: The computer case is open Solution: Case for the warning is that the chassis is opened, for example, to install new hardware. This state is logged by BIOS. To clear this register to access the BIOS setup BIOS. In the main menu you will find PC-Health, chassis intrusion observed with three options: * enable * reset * Please disable select the repair option to clear the log file.
