Question: How come my 58mm fisheye lens is blurry when I attach it to my 18-55mm SLR lens?
I have a 58mm RAYNOX fisheye lens and when I screw it onto the end of my 18-55mm SLR lens the pictures are blurry and cannot focus, what do I need to get this fisheye to work with this camera?
Answer: There isnt much you can do, really. Your fisheye lens really isnt a lens at all, but rather an attachment that screws into the actual lens.
These attachments are generally very low quality and do not work well at all. That's why most people advise against getting one of them, and instead get a proper fisheye lens instead.
If you are very suspicious of the attachment, try getting an exchange; just don't expect any better image quality.
