Answer: I read some forum posts here on the internet that suggested the use of Brasso to take out the scratches. If you dont have Brasso, you can pick it up at the store and its also inexpensive. I wouldnt advise using oxyclean or anything like that on your player (I about called it an iPod ) because of the risk of messing it up.

Question: Why does my Sony DCR-DVD305 Camcorder keep off?

I bought a new Sony DCR-DVD305 Camcorder and battery Li-ion batteries to go with it. Every time I start trying to use (or rather, to start trying to learn to use) it turns off automatically after 10 seconds after turning on. Just before it stops automatically, the screen becomes blue and says in white letters, "Buy the InfoLithium Battery Pack." There is also a message in white letters on the top right that blinks, "C: 04:00. Does anyone know what is going on and especially how I can actually keep in power long enough to use this device? I am certainly not technology, focusing on the person, then maybe I do not do something very basic here. Thank you for your help!

Answer: your battery may not be good … I would like to exchange it at the store and try a new … the old batteries will not hold their charge.
