Question: Do you own a NIkon D40x slr digital Camera?
If you do then do you have the Nikon D40 / D40x Laminated Field Reference Card? I am thinking about buying one but I would like to know what kind of information is on it so I am not waisting my money. I already own the Digital Field Guide book but it is to large for my camera bag. Any information you are willing to part with would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Answer: You can do a couple of things to make your life easier.
Practice at home using your Digital Field Guide and get a feel for the way your camera works … practice until you can control it without a guide by your side.
If you just use your light meter when shooting in the manual mode or choose one of the other modes (automatically exposes based upon aperture, shutter or programed modes).
When I was learning (before I could take some classes) I used to sit in front of the TV and practice composing and exposing (without film in the camera). Since you have a digital camera, you can look at the results of your practice later on your computer.

Question: What is the best camera for nature photos, the autofocus has?I am looking for a camera with a large depth, easy to operate, and focuses well. I have mostly nature shots so I would like the trees actually look like trees. I'm frustrated with my Nikon and shoot because many of my nature shots look washed out and the trees look like a watercolor. I put it on the landscape and select the "living color" setting, But the colors do not look alive.
Answer: The Kodak DX6490, 5 mega-pixel camera that I use, it has one 10x zoom opitcal and a 3-fold digital zoom, lightweight, great battery life, use can also add on a telephoto lens for close-ups really great. Check out Kodak's website, but not pay a price, you get it much cheaper online

Question: Which accessories for the Canon G10?
Hello,
I recently bought a G10 and was curious what accessories should I bother purchasing?
I’m an amateur photographer looking to expand my knowledge, will be traveling to Italy for 2 weeks, and loves to fiddle with things/get new toys.
Here are the available options:
Camera remote (I like night shots)
Different Filters (I love macro shots, as well as don’t like to use computer programs too much)
Different lenses(tele and wide angle, not sure what these are for)Any help would be appreciated, even in explaining what the accessories do/benefit.
Thanks a bundle!
Answer: For your G10 there are two things you can do to improve your photography, especially when traveling. First, buy a hot shoe flash. This will eliminate red eye and provide better light. You’ll learn to bounce it for better lighting. Then learn the manual function of the camera. This will help you get better exposures.
Don’t forget a tripod, since you like night shots.

Question: Do you need a clarification of some technical terms and values of digital camera?Zoom Zoom 31 millimeters wide-TELE-93-12cm Macro Focus range Max. large aperture F6.3-Min. Opening F5.1 Tele-Max. Tele-F11 Opening Sequence (FPS) -1.3 USB1.1 Consider the function above a Mpix.Camera 6 – Opinions please.
Answer: It would be of great help if you could "add details" and include the name and model of camera you are considering. These are only "average" specifications – actually not very impressive at all – and the lens and sensor have more to do with the quality that only the specification.
