Question: Remote shooting for my Canon Rebel XTi?
I am trying to hook my camera up to my computer so that I can use the remote shooting feature. I have installed the Digital Photo Professional and have my camera plugged into the computer. In the Digital Photo Professional help section it says to Select the [Tool] menu ⇒ [Start EOS Utility]. BUT when I select the tool tab the Start EOS Utility is in grey and I can’t click on it! WHAT DO I DO?!?!
Still can’t figure it out![]()
Answer: Did you install EOS Utility? It is on the same CD as DPP and handles remote shooting. Try opening it without going through DPP. It should be in the Canon Utilities folder (where the DPP folder is).
You might have to go here and download the latest version:http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=139&modelid=14257#DownloadDetailAct
Once you open EOS utility, click on Camera Settings / Remote Shooting.

Question: Cleaning the dust from the sensor camera??I Digital Rebel XT. I bought it nearly of 4 weeks. Now, there is a dull gray o up my photos. I need to do cleaning. it is time to begin, I do. What should I use. Any advice?. Many people clean themselves. Should I use regular cleaners and cotton dust and make Home very carefully, or do I really need purchase cleaning kits?? I do not want something that will make JUNK my new camera. Thank all the ideas you ?????
Answer: Do not clean the sensor unless you have good supplies! You can immediately ruin the sensor. Having a proper cleaning kit with a firm reputation as BHPHOTOVIDEO.com. So really studying how to do it before any attempt is made. If you are "clumsy" I suggest you take in cleaning.

Question: Several stationary vertical lines on my LCD TV.?
I have several stationary, seemingly evenly-spaced vertical “lines” running up and down the full height of my Samsung LCD TV screen. They are most visible when the screen is displaying light, solid colors such as light grays, light greens, light blues – VERY irritating when watching outdoor sports such as football, baseball and golf, with the lines being quite noticeable on shots of the sky and the grass. I had a guy come out and take a look at it and he says I’m actually seeing the fluorescent lamps in the panel and that he’s seen it before, but I find that to be pretty difficult to believe – that would simply be poor design, and everyone would be complaining about it if that were the case. Could it be EMI or RFI? I’ve disconnected everything from the TV, and tried different inputs and cables and I get the same thing every time. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance..
Answer: you have a bad display, return it if it is new.
emi/rfi will not cause vert lines, the lines are an error in the matrix.

Question: How Connections 4.1 Speakers (Creative Inspire M4500 4.1) to an LCD TV?Hi, I saw similar questions but they were mainly related to 2 speaker systems (not around anyway) or 5.1 systems (which seemed to be unable to connect) but my case is unique with a 4.1 (Creative Inspire M4500 4.1) with a subwoofer and 4 speakers. Now, I have 2 mini-jacks (those used to connect to a laptop computer or sound card) with the colors green and black obviously for the front and rear speakers (although I do not know which is which). The LCD TV has two RCA left and right. I actually went out and bought a couple of mini jack female adapter to L / R RCA, but since I can connect an RCA line of each card, I could get 2 speakers to work. There must be some way to get 4 channels of sound on the TV or home cinema does not work, but with L / R RCA audio output on the TV How is this possible?
Answer: Try connecting the audio right on your TV to the front entrance of your subwoofer and connect the left audio on your TV the rear entrance on your subwoofer and hook all the satilite speakers as you would for steareo sound card or connection instructions. If this does not you'll probably need a "Home Theater Receiver" between your TV and speakers for surround sound correctly. I fear that on your TV, your situation will only "stereo" sound.
