Question: What is the difference between a ‘coated’ and ‘non-coated’ UV lens filter?
I’m looking at buying camera lens filter for my lens.
I want to know the difference between a ‘coated’ and ‘non-coated’ one.I realize that a non-coated one is cheaper.
Please explain.Thanks.
Answer: coatings typically cut the extaneous light flare out of a lens. Coated lenses are always preferred over non coated.

Question: Circular PL Filter Camera Lens Question.?I recently bought a Nikon D80 and have been using it for shooting indoors theater vivo. I'm taking with me to Disneyland next week and do not have much / any experience of using this camera as planned, in full sun. A friend of mine gave me a filter Circular PL lens as a gift. I was wondering when I should use this and what the intended use. Also, I realize the tour (once it is completely screwed on the tour outside) and, unless I'm crazy seems to change color or something and wondered how best to know what to do with it. Thank you.
Answer: Polarizers two things well. 1) Improving the blue sky when the camera is directed at 90 degrees to the sun, bow and 2) eliminate the reflection of bright objects when being photographed with polarized light (the sun or lamps with polarization filters or gels attached to the front of the lamp. polarized lens A circular is designed to work with cameras with auto-focus lenses. With the polarizing filter attached to the camera, through to find and adjust until the sky is darker and the thinking goes beyond most
