Not knowing which model your have and how much you have ($) in the camera it is hard to help. But in many cases dropping and repairing do not go together.

I just knitted a baby blanket. With what should I line it? Satin? A thin cotton fabric? Some other fabric?

Answer: Sure! Cotton lining! Why not? And make satin border too! I still have mine! I would wash the one hand, and the lining, too. Hope this helps!
